8 x the nicest markets in amsterdam to visit now

Local Goods Market: At this market you only find local products! This market is twice a month, on Saturday and Sunday at De Hallen in Amsterdam West. At the Local Goods Market you find everything form chocolate to wine and from furniture to accessories. Are you having such a great time that you don’t feel like going home? Stick around at De Foodhallen for a bite or go to the movies at the Filmhallen.

IJhallen: Here in Amsterdam North we have the biggest flea market of Europe. Do you need new space in your closet or do you want to get rid of your furniture? Book a stand at the IJhallen! Of course it’s also a lot of fun to look for some good bargains.

Pure Markt: The name says it all. At Pure Markt everything is about hand crafted products and pure food. Every Sunday, this market is in either Park Frankendael, Amstelpark or Beatrixpark. Not only can you taste several things, but also you can buy delicious products to create your own healthy meal at home. Yum!

Noordermarkt: Every Saturday, in the center of the Jordaan, you can enjoy the Noordermarkt. We love the atmosphere and like to walk by all the cute stands. They sell vintage clothes and tasty snacks. My favourite thing to do here: getting an oyster and of course I’ll have a glass of prosecco with that ;-)

MercatormarktDe Baarsjes keeps getting more and more fun. Enthusiastic neighbours sell their products and great food at the Mercatorplein during the Mercatormarkt. Do you want honey from a bee keeper or super nice olive oil from smaller producers out of Spain? This is the place to be!

ZuiderMRKT: Every Saturday, you can go to the ZuiderMRKT from 9.30 am till 5 pm. Where? At the Jacob Obrechtstraat and Johannes Verhulststraat. There are around 20 stands, with fresh and organic products. Yes, this is where you want to go on Saturday!
