A foodie weekend on Instagram!
Last weekend was all about food :-) and thoughts of spring. Here’s an update from my weekend on Instagram.
1) I can’t wait for the summer… It’s freezing cold and almost April!
2) Vogue Netherlands celebrated its first birthday. As a member I got two gifts :-) a Chanel mascara (and I really needed a new one!) and a box of chocolate. Great way to start the weekend!
3) Last weekend at Studio K and Kriterion it was all about food at the Food Film Festival. We had a lovely dinner there on Friday and danced the night away!
4) My prediction of this summer’s IT terrace is Du Cap in Amsterdam West. A trendy all day cafe with a huge outdoor terrace with sun from dusk till dawn. Can’t wait to try and test it as soon as the weather gets better :-). In the meanwhile cafe restaurant Du Cap is nice for lunch, drinks and dinner too!
5) At the Museum of Bags and Purses a new exhibit about Schoolbags opened for the press and friends last Sunday. I remember my old schoolbag as it was yesterday… it had my favourite bands all over it!
6) Great news: this food market seasons the Pure Markt Amsterdam is hosted at the Oosterpark (East park) every month. This is one of my favourite food markets, perfect for a lazy afternoon with oysters, bubbly, pulled pork or ribs fresh from the bbq. Lots of entertainment for kids too!
