Last weekend was very quite. I was still recovering from the flu. Only went out for a walk at the Jordaan.
1) These are my Little Black Books where I keep my notes on all the hotspots. I use the Moleskine city notebooks. They’re very handy and you can buy them at all the major bookstores.
2) Hidden behind the Noordermarkt at the corner of the Noorderkerkstraat you find a blue painted corner shop. This shop sells the most amazing vintage sunglasses. Old, but new and never worn!
3) Finch is my favourite cafe at the Noordermarkt. Cool crowd and relaxed atmosphere. In the summer they have a tiny terrace outside.
4) Once a month there’s a huge flea market at the IJhallen. Hundreds of vendors selling their old goodies. You know what they say… one man’s trash is another man’s treasure!
