Instagram Monday: a very foodist proof weekend
Last weekend the first signs of Spring made Amsterdam smile! And lots of new hotspot opened their doors. So last weekend was all about food :-).
1) Kicked off the weekend the weekend as a guest on English Breakfast Radio.If you missed the blog post about it, you can read all about it here.
2) At some restaurants I behave absolutely boring… The Vlaamsch Broodhuys is one of those places. My all time favourite for lunch is the sandwich with Bonito tuna. If you have the chance go to one of the locations and try it yourself!
3) New hotspot at the Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam Old South! Franklin Bar & Kitchen gives you the NY vibe. My new favourite for after work drinks with fingerfood (their small bites are delicious!!). Last week I went to Franklin Bar & Kitchen twice and had dinner there on Saturday. Check out the blogpost about this hotspot later this week!
4) Sunny Saturday afternoon at the terrace of De Ysbreeker. This brasserie style restaurant is right across the corner of my house and therefore perfect for drinks with friends!
5) I discovered a new brunch hotspot in De Pijp in Amsterdam: Little Collins. Two Aussies opened this cafe restaurant last year and since last Sunday I’m hooked to the brunch menu.
6) Another new hotspot at the Amstelveenseweg: Ron Gastrobar. The new restaurant concept by Dutch top chef Ron Blauw. The menu is delicious and the wines very affordable. Can’t wait for the terrace to open!
