16 x must visit indonesian restaurants in amsterdam

Restaurant Blauw: For a very extensive Indonesian rice table in modern setting you can go to Blauw Amsterdam in Old-South. When the table is completely covered with small plates filled with the nicest things it’s time for you and your friends to enjoy the food!

Tujuh Maret: Did some shopping at the Utrechtsestraat? Go to Tujuh Maret aftwards if you want a good meal. How great is this location? The Utrechtsestraat is one of our favourites in Amsterdam!

Indrapura: Restaurant Indrapura on Rembrandt Square already ended up on the first place in the big rice table test a while ago. And we get why! The rice table has everything you could wish for – and more. And if you finish your dinner before eight, you even get a 25 per cent discount on your rice table. So collect some of your friends and go here for dinner!

Café Amoi: Café Amoi on the Kinkerstraat is the place where you drop by for delicious Indonesian dishes and drinks. How about daging rendang – spicy braised beef – or daging hijau – beefsteak with green chili peppers? We want to try it all!

Sampurna: This nice (but mainly tasty) spot is located on the Singel. So went to the city and looking for a good Indonesian restaurant? Go to Sampurna and order a rice table!

Long Pura: This Indonesian Restaurant is located on the Rozengracht and is open 7 days a week. What to expect? Traditional dishes, made according to family recipes. Must be good!

Toko Manis: For an amazing take-away meal, go to Toko Manis in the Jordaan. The chef has learned to cook from his mother a long time ago and he now cooks the most amazing things. Yum!

Tashi Deleg: Tashi Deleg is a Tibetan and Indonesian restaurant. Tibetan food is less spicy so if you don’t like a spicy food go for a Tibetan dish instead of a Indonesian one. It will be good for sure!

Toko Kok Kita: Kok Kita has been known in Old South for years. It’s both an Indonesian shop as well as a shop with delicious Indonesian take-away meals. Kok Kita is next to Restaurant Blauw, so if you decide to go to a restaurant instead of staying in, go here!

Blue Pepper: Want to eat a good rice table? Go to Blue Pepper! You can also book a candle light dinner cruise here. Perfect for date night, so romantic!

Betawi: Craving authentic Indonesian food? Then you want to go to Betawi. No time to go? Good news, you can order food there too.

Restaurant Jun: On the border of Amsterdam West and the Jordan of Amsterdam you can find Restaurant Jun, where they serve Indonesian classics next to some dishes that you don’t see everywhere. The Indonesian owner is a chef himself, so you can really expect some high quality food here!

Sama Sebo: Located on the P.C Hooft you’ll find Same Sebo, know for their good and delicious rice table. Want to eat here? Make sure to make a reservation, it’s always packed!

Made’s Warung: Since 2016, Made’s Warung is located in Amsterdam, and we’re so so happy with that! You can enjoy amazing Indonesian dishes in the restaurant, but take-out is an option too.

Sari Citra: Looking for a good take-away spot? YES, Sari Citra is. They’re located in the Pijp (fun fun!) and have the best meals ready for you to eat at home with your friends.

Tempo Doeloe: Tempo Doeloe on the Utrechtsestraat is a known name for delicious Indonesian cuisine. When looking for a traditional, tasty rice table, this is where you want to be.

Enjoy your meal at one of these Indonesian restaurants in Amsterdam!
