I’m having such a great time here! Going to the coast in Turkey to sail and eat fresh fish every day was on my bucket list for years. So this year we booked the most luxurious hotels in Bodrum and a sailboat to enjoy the summer in Turkey.

Hotspot & Lifestyle update week 28
Doria Beach: If you think that the coast in Turkey is only about all inclusive hotels you’re very wrong! The first week we stayed at the beautiful Doria Hotel with a private beach in a bay in one of the more quiet neighbourhoods of Bodrum.
Pide: Imagine eating pide for lunch overlooking the beautiful sea. My favourite is the pide with fresh eggplant. Nom nom nom. I actually can’t think of anything with eggplant that I don’t like ;-).
Kocadon: if you want to dine out in style in the city center of Bodrum you have to check out Kocadon. Great service, very good food and a super romantic environment!
Sailing: As a girl from Zeeland I love to be on the water as much as I can! Together with our friends from Istanbul we rented a sailboat and had a great day on the water. Diving of the bow of the ship! So much fun :-).
Sea BBQ: Turkey is known for its fresh fish! And I can tell you that I never had seabass as good as here. During our sail trip we ate grilled seabass from our open sea BBQ. Pure, fresh and so delicious. Almost felt like food heaven!
