Hotel Droog Amsterdam: best kept lunch secret!
What can I say… I worked at Home and Living magazines for almost 5 years so you can imagine I have a crush for interior design and cute accessories for your home. I took me a while though to visit the new store of Hotel Droog Amsterdam. Downstairs it’s a candy store for everyone who loves design. From smaller accessories, to kitchen supplies and gadgets. You can browse around for hours. Hotel Droog Amsterdam is divided in lots of separate rooms, there’s a women en men’s clothe section and a spa section. Hotel Droog Amsterdam is by far the coolest concept store in Amsterdam with a garden. And what kind of garden… The garden makes you think of a fairy tale. Check out the video to see what I mean ;-). On my last visit to Hotel Droog Amsterdam I met one of my friends for lunch. The restaurant is called Roomservice and is very cool. It has an open kitchen, white furniture and blue accents. But the best thing at Hotel Droog Amsterdam is the lunch menu. Healthy sandwiches with delicious grilled vegetables and hummus or salmon and avocado. And lots of other great options! I think the lunch area of Hotel Droog Amsterdam is still a hidden gem since it wasn’t too crowded and no long wait for a table if you go for an early lunch.
