Winkel 43 Amsterdam: the best apple pie in town

16 July 2015

Nice cafe next to the Noordermarkt: Winkel 43 in Amsterdam

Have you never have a piece of apple pie at Winkel 43 in Amsterdam? Shame on you! ;-) Because they really have the best, best, best apple pie of Amsterdam. How often I haven’t already been here on a Monday morning after a visit to the Noordermarkt. With a cappuccino, apple pie and sometimes with a bit of cream. Because hey, it doesn’t hurt to sometimes spoil yourself a little.

Winkel 43 is one of those cafés in Amsterdam that are loved by tourists as well as locals. During the winter you can sit inside to warm up but during the summer they have a really nice terrace where you’re sitting right in front of the sun! And while you’re enjoying the sun you can also look at all the fun people that are going to or leaving the market. It’s also super busy there, but luckily no one really minds to share a table here.
