Iceland Travel Tips
Put Iceland on your bucket list if it’s not on it yet. In this Iceland Travel Guide I have already listed my tips for a special city trip to Reykjavik. If you have little time, you can book an excursion from Reykjavik to see more of the island. The Golden Circle tour, for example, is very popular and I have done it a few trips ago. Within a day you will see a number of well-known highlights in the special nature of Iceland.
If you have more time, I can definitely recommend a one-week road trip. Staying at special places, eating lots of seafood and braving the cold to enjoy the extraordinary landscapes while spending a lot of time outdoors. From black beaches to geysers and if you’re lucky you can even spot whales.
Tip: with Icelandair you can make a free stop-over in Reykjavik if you are going on a city trip to New York for example!
