Tolbar Amsterdam: nice new eat cafe in De Pijp

28 July 2015

your new (second) living room in De Pijp: Tolbar Amsterdam!

Cafe Tolbar Amsterdam is as the name suggests located in de Tolstraat. In the heart of De Pijp. I really like this, since De Pijp is my second home :-)! Tolbar is settled in Cinetol. A creative bird nest in Amsterdam. They created an environment where self-employed people can work, but there is also a stage for cultural programming. Every week there is something else going on: from concerts and poetry to movie nights. And now you can combine one of the activities with a nice meal at Tolbar!

Tolbar in Amsterdam is a cozy bar for breakfast, delicious coffee, extensive lunch, drinks and dinner. They also have lots of drinks and specialty beers are well represented here. This makes Tolbar the perfect place to spend the whole day! Go there in the morning to work, invite your friend for lunch and finish here with a drink.

Tolbar has a lovely outdoor terrace with picnic tables and large wooden benches and chairs. The interior inside has a vintage look. Many plants, old school chairs and in the middle of the room a beautiful large wooden table. Feels like a living room cafe; very warm and homy!

Tip: keep an eye on the facebook page of Tolbar! They organise fun events as a pub quiz and regularly lit up the barbecue!
