I’m so glad I can tell guys about 2 new cool spots we’ve been to in Bushwick. One of them: Contemporary Brooklyn pub The Rookery

Last month we were at the launch party of The Rookery. It’s based in our favorite part of Bushwick, so today we’re back for a couple of drinks.

Located at 425 Troutman street, right in the middle of the area that’s filled with street art you’ll find The Rookery. This is a part of Bushwick we go to a lot, read more about that here.
I like the way they styled this gastropup. Perfect for cozy winter drinking. And in summer you can enjoy the sun at the patio in front of the bar. The bar is really an eye-catcher. And those seats are just perfect for you and your friends to hang in all afternoon!

They serve all kinds of imported beers. And those are decent prices! Wine for $7?! Hardly ever seen that before here in NY… Or try a Depth Charge cocktail (Lillet, Gin, Absinthe Wash, Lemon Zest).
And order their British-meets-West-Indian dishes. Like Curried Goat Shepards Pie or The Rookery’s already famous Mac n Cheese.

The place is open until 4 am so you can stick around for a while. Food can be ordered from 5pm until 12am. And they have a happy hour every day from 2-8pm! :)

And you might want to check their Facebook page regularly for special events that are coming up…
