Summit Hotel Kathmandu: coffee and Dutch apple pie
Summit Hotel is a nice hotel in Kathmandu. Atmospheric, big rooms, hot water (which is often a luxury in Nepal) and… a great terrace! Here you can sit in the sun all day, on a cute courtyard and on those nice rattan chairs. If you are lucky, you have a Himalayan view. But either way this is a nice place to hang out with your friends, drink coffee or do some work.
In Nepal you only have a few hours of power a day. Therefore you sometimes get instant coffee if you order a cappuccino or latte. But if they get the coffee machine to work, Summit Hotel serves really good coffee! Order this with a Dutch apple pie and it just feels like you are in Holland again. Order also a glass of wine. The wine here seems to be really good as well!
