At Sugo Amsterdam you can try the pizza taglio: the one and only real Roman pizza. Sugo was the first restaurant to bring this Italian specialty to The Netherlands. First to Rotterdam, but since a while you can also go to De Pijp for a delicious pizza taglio.

What makes this pizza so different from other pizzas, you might wonder? At Sugo’s they only use high quality products. Most of them are biologic and flown in straight from Italy. The dough has got seventy percent less yeast than regular pizzas, which makes the crust crunchy and light. Each day they sell over fifteen different pizzas, of which more than half is vegetarian. This way you can try a new flavour each time you go there. The best part? Most of the fresh made pizza’s are displayed at the counter. It feels like entering a candy shop by looking at all those beauties, mmm!

I definitely love the pizza with shrimps and cocktail sauce. Don’t expect a long night of dining when going here, but for a quick bite before heading of to a cool movie theatre, this is the place to be. Which one are you gonna choose?
