Mussels, fries and Espresso Martini’s at Snaps in Reykjavik
For French cuisine go have to go to restaurant Snaps in Reykjavik! According to locals the place to dine. When you enter the restaurant you will notice how packed it always is. But luckily we managed to get two seats at the bar. So we had a good view over the open kitchen and we could see how the bartender made our espresso martinis ;-).
During our city trip to Reykjavik we mostly discovered many new and hip hotspots. Snaps actually has a more warm and cosy vibe. It’s a real French bistro where you go to eat mussels and fries. On the menu of Snaps they only have French dishes. That they’re cooked with fresh Nordic ingredients. I can tell you this: the moment walk in you’ll start salivating already. It smells so good in here! So go to Snaps with an empty stomach so that you can try as much different dishes as possible.
