Sea Palace Amsterdam: for tasty dim sum and Chinese dishes in Amsterdam

20 November 2017

sea palace amsterdam was the first floating restaurant in Europe!

Sea Palace Amsterdam, who doesn’t know the huge, floating Chinese restaurant near Central Station?! With its characteristic Chinese architecture it’s a familiar image for many people in Amsterdam. But what not everyone knows is that they have really delicious dim sum over here ;-) At Sea Palace Amsterdam you can go for authentic Chinese dishes with specialties in the Cantonese cuisine and dim sum (oh my… it’s so good!). The dim sum is prepared by their own dim sum chef. They by the way also have Peking duck and Chinese fondue that you want to try.

At Sea Palace Amsterdam you really feel like you’re in Asian atmospheres. It’s really a classic Chinese restaurant where the interior looks just as spectacular as the restaurant does form the outside. In terms of food, the choice is infinite. The dim sum menu is long and extensive and you can choose between al lot of different steamed and fried dim sum. The dim sum chef surprised us with lots of different dim sum and we couldn’t stop stuffing ourselves. The food was just so delicious! Don’t forget to order some noodles and other authentic dishes.

Sea Palace Amsterdam is definitely recommended to have an extensive lunch or dinner with friends if you ask us!

Sea Palace Amsterdam is open all year round from 12 AM till 11 PM and the dim sum and lunch is served between 12 AM and 4 PM. The restaurant consists of three floors and there are over 650 (!) seats. In other words, there is always a place for you.

Enjoy the dim sum and other Chinese dishes at Sea Palace Amsterdam!
