Wood oven pizzas at Roadhouse Cafe Kathmandu
Roadhouse Cafe Kathmandu is a popular restaurant in the tourist area Thamel. Here you can eat pizza from the wood oven! I already revealed that pizza is my guilty pleasure, so it will not surprise you that I paid Roadhouse Cafe a visit during my trip to Nepal ;-)
I love the atmosphere in Roadhouse Cafe Kathmandu. This is partly due to the establishment: dark brown wooden tables, ceramic wall and wicker lampshades. It looks so cozy! The menu here is western with pizza and pasta; I went for a ‘healthy’ pizza with vegetables: artichokes, mushrooms, peppers and mozzarella. And this is so good! Oh, and the pizza is sliced so you can eat with your hands.
There is also a second location of Roadhouse Cafe, and this one is in Jhamsikhel, the expat district of Kathmandu, net als The Vesper Café & Restaurant.
