Carbon Xpress: The steak & grill restaurant were we go to for spareribs and a beer in South, opened Carbon Xpress at the Mauritskade. Focusses on take away and home delivery but also for a nice evening with burgers and friends.

Coba Taqueria: Very good news for everybody who loves Mexican food! In Amsterdam North just opened a real taqueria  where you can order different tacos ánd grasshoppers. You can find this new Mexican spot, Coba Taqueria, in the Schaafstraat in North, behind Hotel de Goudfazant and a few doors next to FC Hyena.

De Tulp: Amsterdam has a new tropical paradise in the Pijp at Marie Heinekenplein. De Tulp Amsterdam is a spot where you can drink coffee on a swing on the veranda, have a tropical lunch on their colourful terrace, a cosy dinner inside and where you can end the evening with a nice cocktail, or better said cocktails .

Joya: Blue Boy, a restaurant you’ve probably had dinner one time in the city centre of Amsterdam changed! They not only got a new name, they also launched a new food concept. Blue Boy made place for Joya. Your new go to if you love the Asian cuisine.

Ox  & Bucks: Ox & Bucks Amsterdam is added to the list of (new) hotspots on the Zuidas. A new place to visit, also when you’re not working on the Zuidas. A nice all-day spot where you also can go to for after work borrels with colleagues and friends.

The Dutch Weed Burger Joint: You probably saw or maybe even tasted the green burgers of The Dutch Weed Burger at one of the (food) festivals in Amsterdam. After five years of serving burgers from a foodtruck, they now have their own restaurant The Dutch Weed Burger Joint on the Nicolaas Beetsstraat, a side street of the Kinkerstraat in West. Nice!

Park Café Restaurant: Now that the rebuilding of Hotel Arena is almost done, the restaurant also got a new concept. The team of Chefs now cook a plant-based menu with local ingredients and it’s good, believe us!

Franggo: At Franggo you get roasted chicken that’s prepared in a typical Portuguese way. They are cut and folded in open, placed in a special grill grid and roasted on charcoal. This way they stay juicy!

Hoed & Krelis: At Hoed & Krelis on the Ferdinand Bolstraat in the Pijp they work with local fresh products from the season and they like to work with meat and fish. As we already saw on the menu and pictures. We spotted oysters, veal steak, ceviche, cod, fondue, bavette steak. Yes, this may be the new pearl of the Pijp!

El Hermano de Kique: The Spaarndammerbuurt has a new Spanish spot: El Hermano de Kique where we can go to for Spanish winemanzanilla and tapas. Better said, all you need for a night out with friends. We also have good news for wine lovers. The owners of El Hermano de Kique also run a wine shop a little bit further in the street. Hint, hint!

Lokaal Edel: Have dinner at Edel, it’s possible! Jonathan Karpathos introduces a new food concept, where pure and real products get transformed into delicious and special dishes. Yes, Lokaal Edel is the perfect spot for shared dining, shared dining at a high level. Nice if you want to catch up with friends, or when you have something to celebrate with your family.
