29 March 2017

THESE ARE NEW BREAKFAST AND LUNCH HOTSPOTS THAT YOU WANT TO TRY

In the mood for a good cup of coffee or a croissant to wake up, or are you in the mood for a big lunch on Sunday? A lot of hotspots have opened this spring that are waiting for you to visit. We made a nice list with new breakfast and lunch hotspots in Amsterdam that have opened their doors these past few months. Check out the list, where have you already been?

Ps: we’ve brought a new list to life because a lot of the time we’re one of the first to find out about new spots, but not a lot of information is known: ‘Coming Soon‘. In this list you’ll find the new spots that you can go to soon. We will of course keep you updated about their opening dates.

9 NEW BREAKFAST AND LUNCH HOTSPOTS TO EAT GOOD FOOD

PANCAKES Amsterdam Westermarkt: The best pancakes in Amsterdam can be found at PANCAKES Amsterdam. Besides a mini location in the Nine Streets and a location a bit bigger at Central Station, they now have a new location on the Westermarkt, next to the Anne Frank House!

The Avocado Show: We had to wait a while, but the avocado heaven, The Avocado Show, finally opened. What can you order here? Everything with avocado ;-) Have you already been?

Koala Republic: At Koala Republic they want to fight the established food concepts. Everyone has a right to a good, and healthy lifestyle and food. We’re fans of the special sit corners at Koala Republic Amsterdam. You can sit on really high tables that’ll make you feel like a koala, high up in a tree, while enjoying your meal.

Selma’s: At Selma’s Amsterdam you can get really good coffee and Swedish treats in a cosy, Scandinavian living room. It’s a real paradise for those with a sweet tooth among us; cinnamon rolls, coffee rolls, chocolate balls, and much more.

YourLBB's newest lists

Local Hero: Local Hero is the newest addition in Amsterdam West where you can go for a tasty breakfast, lunch, or brunch. Go for the pancakes, scrambled eggs, or organic juice. Pretty much all the ingredients are organic and sustainable.

Stach Asian Foodcourt: The owner of Stach was missing a place where you could get good, healthy Asian dishes to go on the Overtoom. So from now on you can enjoy fresh poké bowls, sushi, spring rolls, and Asian salads at Stach Asian Foodcourt in West. Trust us, they’re so good!

Yumler: At Yumler you can eat healthy, good food for the price of the groceries that you left in the supermarket. The menu switches regularly, so there’s always a good reason to go back. Tip: order one of the homemade lemonades like the Pinky Rose with your meal.

De Koffieschenkerij: Looking for a place to escape the chaos of the Red Light District? Then check out De Koffieschenkerij, and order an apple pie with your coffee. Apparently they have the best apple pie in Amsterdam!

Good To Go: Good To Go Amsterdam is the first ‘bike through’ in The Netherlands where you can get the freshest juices, homemade pies and cakes, coconut yogurt with granola, wraps and salads. Tip: go for the sugar free banana bread, it’s so good.
