bring your board instead of a suitcase with klm
Do you surf? Preferably at the most beautiful spots around the world? I’ve got good news for everyone who loves surfing and is fan of the relaxed surfing lifestyle. Get in the mood for your next surfing holiday. In this video Dutch surf champion Yannick de Yager takes you along his favourite surf spots in Indonesia. When I see those images I feel instant homesick to beautiful Bali. That surfing course has to be on my bucket list again!
Also nice: taking your surf gear on the plane has become a lot easier. With KLM you can now take your surfboard just as easy as a suitcase. On surf.klm.com you can read how your board becomes your bag! Same rules apply to a surf board as to a suitcase. So when you travel outside of Europe you can take your board as your checked luggage and your clothes and stuff in your hand luggage! Easy and much cheaper.
Feel like going on a surf trip?
KLM gives tips and collected the most beautiful inspirational images about surfing holidays to Indonesia, Portugal or Norway! Let’s catch some waves!
Surfing in Bali at Canggu
Last summer I was in Bali to work on the travel guide. The best surf beaches are, without a doubt, at Canggu. The vibe is super relaxed and you’ll find nice hotspots everywhere to go for dinner or have a drink. That is also where you can spot the hot surf dudes when they are not in the water ;-). Good recommendations are hotspots like Crate Café, Deus ex Machina and Betelnut Café. Or even better, sit back in a bean bag on the beach and watch the magical sunset while your are sipping on your Bintang!
