from freakshakes to lactose free milkshakes in amsterdam

Milkshakes in Amsterdam, where can you find them? Once in a while we just want a thick, cold milkshake made with milk or fresh cream. Especially when the sun is shining we’re in the mood for a filling drink with flavors as strawberry, vanilla or chocolate. That’s why we went on a milkshake hunt. We made a list with the best places to order milkshakes in Amsterdam. From ordinary milkshakes, to freak shakes and lactose-free milk shakes.

8 x Milkshakes in Amsterdam to order with your lunch or dinner

Bakers & Roasters: At this New Zealand hotspot in the city center you need to order the milkshake with caramel or vanilla and a stack of pancakes! All the egg dishes are also delicious, as well as the homemade cakes.

Bulls & Dogs: At Bulls & Dogs you order 1: a delicious hotdog with friend onion rings and 2: a freak shake. A freak shake is a milkshake with different toppings als whipped cream, marshmallows, caramel, pretzels, cookies and even brownies. So good!

Dignita: Oké it’s not a milkshake, but it’s so tasty! The affogato (espresso with melted ice cream) is really good at Dignita. Tip: order our favourite dish: the Benny-Boy as well. It’s bacon on a crisp potato cake with two poached eggs, hollandaise apple cider and Granny Smith apple.

Bar Bukowski: The milkshakes at Bar Bukowski are made with fresh cream and organic milk. Can I have one with coconut and the hangover breakfast on a early Sunday morning please?

Burgermeester: When you order a good hamburger, you need a good milkshake as well. At Burgermeester you can order a homemade milkshake with banana or even better mandarin!

Corner Bakery: At Corner Bakery you can order a colourful freak shake as well. If you’re more into hot chocolate, order the Unicorn Hot Chocolate. It’s hot chocolate made from white chocolate and pink dye with of course colourful toppings.

Drovers Dog: Drovers Dog is my to go to place for a late night snack. I always order the fried chicken with farm frites and a milkshake. If I’m still hungry after that I need the signature rocky road. It’s so good!

CT Coffee & Coconuts: Our favourite place to go to on a Sunday morning is CT Coffee & Coconuts. They have a lactose-free milk shake on the menu and it’s delicious. It’s a milkshake with oatmeal milk, almonds, peanut butter, banana, cocoa and a little bit of honey. So good!

Cheers!
