The most delicious pancakes of Amsterdam at Maison Demanis
We discovered another hidden gem in Amsterdam: Maison DeManis! This trendy tearoom, which is located on the upcoming Jan van Galen, is for sure an upgrade to the entire street.
Maison DeManis is a project of two Moroccan sisters whom will always serve you with a big smile on their face. The sisters are fond of baking beautiful pies and cupcakes, which can be ordered at the bakery. But luckily for us, they also made a breakfast, brunch and lunch spot of the store, yay! Thereby, we can enjoy their most delicious eggs benedict and American pancakes at any time. And if you’d ask us, these pancakes are the best of Amsterdam!
Because of the combination of pies, cupcakes, lunch and high tea, this maison has everything: the sweetness of Paris, the Moroccan hospitality, the English way of drinking tea and the American way of enjoying food.
Maison DeManis is definitely a hidden gem. Not only because you’ld walk right past it but also because the sitting area and terrace are well hidden. The entrance of Maison DeManis is the bakery shop where you can take out your wonderful pies and delicious cupcakes. But if you go downstairs, there’s all of a sudden a super cute lunch room. Think about vintage furniture and trendy flamingo wall paper. We love!
Even the set is a delight to the eye. Behind the lunch room, you’ll find the courtyard which is totally summer proof! Thereby, you can enjoy your lunch in the sun! I think it’s clear: we’ll be here often! Check their Facebook page for some sweet inspiration.
