While strolling down the narrow streets of the Santo Spirito district I spotted the cosy wine bar Il Santo Bevitore. A favourite with the local Florentines! At Il Santo Bevitore you can enjoy an amazing choice of Italian and French cheeses, cured meats soft as butter that melt on your tongue and bruschetta with a variety of delicious toppings. This hidden gem is perfect for aperitivo!

After work Il Santo Bevitore fills up with stylish dressed locals who go there to for some pre dinner drinks and a small bite. Ask the Chef to make a tasting plate for you with mixed cheeses.
Tip: if you want to enjoy dinner later in the evening the same named restaurant next to trattoria Il Santo Bevitore is a great choice.
