The Hoxton Amsterdam

LOTTI’S BAR & GRILL @ THE HOXTON >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

Lotti’s Bar & Grill is cool! It’s in the middle of the Canal District and in the beautiful Hoxton Hotel that has just been open for a few months. The design is amazing: expect blue leather seats at the bar and mustard couches to lounge on with a cocktail. But don’t skip the meal, because the menu is quite versatile: from super healthy salads and pasta to beautiful grilled dishes. Hungry yet?

Pressroom Amsterdam

PRESS ROOM @ INK HOTEL >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

Press Room is in the middle of the city. In the beautiful INK Hotel, a name that is inspired on the fact that this used to be the headquarters of newspaper De Tijd. Fun! On the menu you’ll find high quality small dishes to share. But, you can also get breakfast here. Have some sweet pancakes, drink coffee and at the end of the day drink cocktails while listening to fine house tunes.

Morgan & Mees Amsterdam

Morgan & Mees >> Hotel restaurants in amsterdam

Morgan & Mees is very close to the Jordaan and is next to a great restaurant also a fantastic boutique hotel. The design is to die for. It has one of these amazing fish bone floors. Wow! The steak-frites taste amazing, but I’m also quite curious to taste the open raviolis. They sound kind of exciting.

Mr Porter AmsterdamPhotocredits: facebook.com/mrporteramsterdam

MR PORTER @ W HOTEL >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

Mr Porter is situated in the cool W Hotel in the heart of the centre of Amsterdam. The restaurant is open all day, so you can go here for both breakfast and a late-night drink. Mr Porter is a rooftop restaurant, so you’ll have some beautiful views over the Palace on the Dam here. The menu? As a starter you’ll get some shared dining dishes made out of fish and vegetables. After that, we switch to  meat. Think steak: but with an upgrade. Oh, and keep some room for the homemade cheesecake, it is yummie!

Volkshotel Amsterdam

canvasopde7e @ volskhotel >> hotel restaurants in amsterdam

We love the Volkshotel in the old Volkskrant building in East. To sleep, to drink, or to party. At Canvasopde7e you are always at the right address, because the view from this rooftop restaurant is a shocker every single time! You have a 360 degree view over beautiful Amsterdam. Don’t forget to pick the dishes to share of the menu. Served with burrata, something we love at Yourlbb.

Remise47 Amsterdam

REMISE47 @ HOTEL DE HALLEN >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

We are big fans of Remise47 in Amsterdam West. Remise47 is the restaurant of Hotel de Hallen. Extra nice: every once in a while they serve a two week special which means you can eat something special for two weeks. For example: mussels and lobster. But outside of the specials the food is fantastic here too. Hotel de Hallen is a beautifully decorated  design hotel and since you’re here anyway, you should definitely spend the night here.

THE DUCHESS @ W HOTEL >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

The Duchess is located in the W Hotel as well, just like Mr Porter. It’s a very chique spot where fine dining plays an important part. The French and Italian kitchen are very important here, but the chefs use a lot of local ingredients as well. The place looks as chique as the food they serve. Big chandeliers, a lot of marble and high ceilings. We love this hotspot in the former Kas Bank!

flammkuchen in amsterdamPhotocredits: facebook.com/thelobbyrestaurant

the lobby @ Hotel v >> hotel restaurants in amsterdam

The Lobby is located in the cool Hotel V in the centre of Amsterdam. The decoration of the hotel is fancy and chique, but modern and stylish at the same time. What we love, is that the staff at The Lobby is extremely friendly. When you arrive, you immediately get a free bottle of water that will come in handy once the flammkuchen makes you thirsty. The home made ice tea is also great. And only thinking back at the procureur makes us hungry again…

TAIKO @ CONSERVATORIUM HOTEL >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

Taiko can be found in the fancy Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam Old-South. The concept: Asian meets local products. Presentation, aroma, texture and flavour are all equally important to make your senses happy. Chef Schilo van Coevorden makes sure all of the elements are in perfect balance. And the restaurant looks great too! A bit chique, but modern. We like that!

bluespoon-amsterdam-andaz

Bluespoon @ Andaz Hotel >> hotel restaurants in amsterdam

Bluespoon is the restaurant in the Andaz Hotel that we love to stop by when we’re shopping in the centre. The restaurant is completely designed by Marcel Wanders, so at least you’ll have something to look at. If you’re with a group, ask for the chefs table, because it is great to see the chefs in action!

Toon Amsterdam

BAR TOON @ TOON HOTEL >> HOTEL RESTAURANTS IN AMSTERDAM

Toon Hotel is a cute small hotel with only five rooms that all have perfect views over the canals. It’s in the Utrechtsestraat, in the middle of the Canal District. In Bar Toon you can order a good meal, but also the best gin-tonics. There’s even a gin-tonic that is named after Jon Snow from Game of Thrones! Especially the breakfast sounds good here: from a stack of American pancakes to a grilled breakfast burger. That is my definition of waking up!
