Höst Copenhagen for five courses of deliciousness
On my last trip to Copenhagen we had dinner at Höst Copenhagen. A very trendy designed restaurant at the Nansengade district. Höst Copenhagen gives you the ultimate feeling of Scandinavian design. With lots of blond wood, white walls, plants and design items. There are three different areas at Höst Copenhagen where you can be seated. The basement, the bar area and a sort of inner garden with lots of plants and green. When you reserve a table ask to be seated in the green area, it’s very cool!
The staff at Höst Copenhagen is very friendly and are doing everything to make sure you have a great night. That starts with explaining the menu! They have a three course dinner with wine pairings for 500DK which is a very good deal for Copenhagen, since the wine can be very expensive. And the good thing about the menu is that they add two courses on the house, so it’s actually a five course menu. I love the food at Höst Copenhagen! We had several coursed with smoked food, the Danish really like that. The dishes are seasonal and when we were there they had this delicious rhubarb ice-cream on the menu. Yummy! Before dinner it’s nice to have a drink at Bankorat across the restaurant.
