Gare Saint Sauveur Lille: creative hub

Lunch and art at Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille

Perfect for a lazy Sunday in Lille is a visit to Gare Saint Sauveur. The creative area of Lille for events and art expo’s. It reminds me of the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. Old warehouses transformed into creative and cultural places.

We went there for a Sunday lunch and enjoyed the art expo (which is free!).
There’s a cafe and restaurant which is a nice spot for lunch called Le Bistro de St So. The food was delicious and better than I first expected. But well, you’re in France… all the food is good there!

On Sunday everything in Lille is closed. Except Gare Saint Sauveur! So save this one for Sunday before you go back home. Or check the agenda to see is there are events going on!
