Frank’s Smoke House Amsterdam: the famous smokehouse has a new location in East

31 July 2017

Frank’s Smoke House Amsterdam for shared dining and smoked meat

Everyone who knows the smokehouse from Frank on the Wittenburgergracht will probably get really, really excited when we tell you that Frank opened a new, bigger location on the corner of the Oostenburgervoorstraat. Frank’s Smoke House Amsterdam is the new project of Frank and belongs on your Amsterdam bucketlist.

Time for some background information. Frank started a small smokehouse at home in the garage which grew so fast that his wife said it was time to move. Frank opened a shop on the Wittenburgergracht which, after 17 years, became too small as well. Now we can find Frank’s Smoke House Amsterdam on the Oostenburgervoorstraat. A café, restaurant and shop in one! You can still find the smokehouse on the Wittenburgergracht.

Frank's Smoke House AmsterdamBut what can we order at Frank’s Smoke House Amsterdam? The menu is based on the long and cozy evenings with friends, better said Frank has a sharing & tasting menu that makes you stay for hours. Dishes made with Frank’s smoked meat, fish and vegetables. Think of a Smoked Fish Plank, Smoked Tartar, Smokey Cannelloni and of course Smoke Aged Beef. Potatoes and sauted veggies on the side and a Crispy Rhubarb with coconut ice cream for dessert. This evening can’t go wrong …
