Duck District Amsterdam: for bao buns, summer rolls and gyoza’s at Central Station

6 September 2017

Finally tasty snacks at CS because of Duck District Amsterdam

Ai ai ai, we have some good news on this early Thursday morning! From today on you can order the tastiest Asian snacks such as bao buns, summer rolls and gyoza’s at one of the busiest place in Amsterdam: at Central StationThe DuckTruck, the famous Asian food truck that you’ve probably spotted at festivals as De Rollende Keukens and Zeezout last year, opened this Asian walhalla on Central Station. Duck District Amsterdam is the name and they will stay for at least a year in the new passage: Lil ‘Amsterdam at the station. Lucky us!

Ps: also, Lil ‘Amsterdam officially opens its doors today. It’s a passage filled with 19 different shops and restaurants that are focussed on art, culture, design, food and fashion. Read this blog for all the ins and outs!

Asian comfort food at Duck District Amsterdam

Back to Duck District Amsterdam. At this new Asian spot they serve South East Asian comfort food dishes. Think of slow cooked beef bao buns, summer rolls with BBQ chicken, crispy glazed gyoza’s (vega) and of course the famous Duck Bao with papaya pepper and hoisin skin. Are you getting cravings already? This sounds so good… What’s also nice at Duck District Amsterdam is that all the dishes are halal! A delay with the train is all of the sudden not that bad, right!?
