Katendrecht is the place to be in Rotterdam. Full of cool restaurants, concept stores and even a food factory. For the stylish Italian beer brand Peroni I was at De Zeeuwse Meisjes. A store and café under one roof. With a carefully curated selection of products you want to all take home with you. From cute gifts to jewellery and items for your home. If you’re having a drink at the terrace of De Zeeuwse Meisjes and you look around it’s hard to imagine that Katendrecht used to be a very bad neighbourhood not so long ago. The vibe there is so relaxed! And I will always remember this hotspot… I had my first ‘Zeeuwse bolus’ there. And then to imagine that I was born and raised in Zeeland! It’s on video, so it’s true ;-).
