If I say Amsterdam East, you probably think of the Javastraat and Oosterpark. But hello Czaar Peterstraat! This street is definitely one of the nicest streets in the city center of Amsterdam East. Totally upcoming with a lot of special and unique stores. If you’re looking for an original gift, this is the place to be! Don’t feel like shopping? Visit one of the cosy bars and restaurants! Fun fact: The movie ‘Ciske de Rat’ was filmed in this neighbourhood. Pure nostalgia for the thirties! 4 X shopping oN thE CZAAR PETERSTRAAT IN AMSTERDAM eaST

CP113: The first concept store in Amsterdam East, yay! This store is really a 3 in 1. Beside the beautiful clothes, they also have vintage furniture ànd a cosy place to have a nice cup of coffee.
Dreamboat Design & Studio: Home decoration, jewelry, books, art and fashion. You’ll find everything in here. Extra plus: you can never goof up. Everything has been carefully selected by interior designer and fashion stylist Stephanie Rammeloo.
NJAG: If you’re looking for a present or you just want to spoil yourself, go to NJAG. This store has everything from jewelry to toys.
Olie & Zo: I always buy here a delicious balsamic vinegar for my tomato mozzarella salad. There is also a restaurant where you can go for a bite and where they use ingredients from the shop.

Coffee and Friends: As soon as you enter, you get that living room vibe. Besides coffee you can also go here for everything that goes with it. Think of sweet cakes or yoghurt with granola. Sounds like the perfect start (or break) of your day, right?
Fromagerie Kef: We love cheese! At Fromagerie Kef you buy delicious cheeses from usually small producers from France and The Netherlands.
Instock Café Restaurant:
You never know what to expect because Instock Café Restaurant is known for its delicious and inventive dishes. Your meal depends on the ‘catch of the day’. Every morning they collect unsold products with their ‘food rescue car’ and adjust the menu to it.

Brunchroom: When talking about brunch in combination with East, of course Brunchroom pops up first. At this hotspot you’ll only find brunch dishes that are nowhere else to be found. From freshly baked quiches to homemade soups that is. Yum!
De Pindakaaswinkel: This store is for the real peanut butter lover. Think of peanut butter with caramal seasalt flavour or chili pepper lemongrass. So good!
Spirit: If you would like to have a vega buffet, Spirit is the place to be. You can choose over fifty dishes and the food is 100% organic and vegetarian.
De werkwinkel +meer: Enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee and have a look at the store. Maybe you’ll find some hidden treasures!
Helena Primakoff: Here you have to go to for a delicious cup of coffee or a fresh smoothie. Also a little bit hungry? Try a piece of pie! This place is perfect for a lovely breakfast or lunch!
