Florence Travel Tips

If you have a few free days, you should definitely consider to pack your bags and go to Florence. In this oh-so-lovely Italian city every resident looks like an excellent chef-cook.

This sunny town has lots of delicious eateries, including pearls like Le Vespe and Cucina Torcicoda. There are plenty cultural activities and as a true foodie you must go to the Mercato Centrale: a covered food hall. A very known icon is Ponte Vecchio, a narrow medieval bridge where particularly jewellers are located.

Beyond this famous bridge, is the beautiful park Pratolino Park, which is certainly worth visiting. Tip: at the top of this park you can enjoy a fine wine on a quiet terrace and you can enjoy the most beautiful view. When you want to feel completely zen visit the wonderful green Boboli Gardens! You discover the real Florence by ordering a Chianti and a plate with various cheeses and hams to nibble on the streets among all locals. If you prefer to sit somewhere, go to Il Santo Bevitore favourite place for the aperitif (including nice view of a church).
