Italian meals and great wines at Cecconi’s Istanbul!
In every city you have those hidden gems, where someone else tells you about and straight away sits on top of your bucket list to go to. Cecconi’s is that hidden gem of Istanbul. A pearl in the middle of the city, one that I would actually like to keep for myself ;-). Why? They have such a gorgeous courtyard garden where you can sit soooo comfortably! Away from the crowded city, with a cup of coffee or a delicious glass of wine.
Cecconi’s is together with The Allis the restaurant of the SoHo House. On the menu are delicious Italian meals. Burrata with tomato, avocado and pistachio, risotto with wild mushrooms and black truffle, spaghetti with lobster, tomato and chilli, tuna with capers, lamb chop with caponata and balsamic… It all sounds so freakin’ delicious! Fun detail: from Thursday to Saturday they do a 4/7 menu. This means that you can enjoy an aperitif from 4pm to 7pm before dinner is served!
And oh well, if you go early morning or late in the evening to Cecconi’s… It’s always so en-joy-able!
