these are our favourite spots to eat burrata in amsterdam

We love burrata… It doesn’t matter what the nice restaurant hotspots have on their menu. If they have burrata, we will al-ways order this. Without exceptions! Need a reminder of what burrata is? Only the best mozzarella with cream that you have ever tasted! It literally means “buttery” in Italian, and that is quite accurate. Burrata just melts on your tongue. It’s really tasty with fresh tomato and basil… But we also dig more surprising combinations. It’s just so good! What are our favourite spots to eat burrata? To find out, check out our blog with 5 x burrata in Amsterdam!

CARTER BAR & KITCHEN >> BURRATA IN AMSTERDAM

Carter Bar & Kitchen in Amsterdam Old South has been decorated beautifully with retro furniture and cool art on the wall. The burrata is served as a sharing platter here. Looks amazing, right? The burrata already tastes amazing on its own, but is accompanied by baby spinach, spinach pie, pear and honey balsamic dressing, which makes it even better. Must try! After that, you get the moules-frites, with surprising sauces. What about passion fruit mayonaise? Very special!

Eddy Spaghetti is a cosy restaurant in Amsterdam East, where you can have a lovely meal for not too much money. For starters, you of course have the burrata, because wow, that tastes amazing here. San George Amsterdam

san george >> burrata in amsterdam

The decoration of San George in the city centre is very stylish. Colours green and blue run the show here. At San George they serve your burrata traditionally, with fresh tomato and basil. Sometimes we just love traditional! You’re not finished yet after the burrata, because the fresh tagliatelle with truffle and parmesan is also too good to be true. Enjoy!

koevoet amsterdam

koevoet >> burrata in amsterdam

Koevoet is a super cute and cosy restaurant, hidden between de nice streets of the Jordaan. This used to be a typical Dutch brown cafe, and the interior still has that vibe and feel. The menu has changed though! You won’t find any bitterballen or meatballs on the menu. Instead, you can expect classic dishes from the Italian kitchen. The burrata tastes like more here, but we keep some room left for the lovely raviolis of course.
