Cool hotspot in Reykjavik: Bunk Bar!
One of our favorite new hotspots in Reykjavik is the all day cafe Bunk Bar on Laugavegur. Laugavegur is one of the main shopping streets of Reykjavik. You will find many bars and shops here. Hrim, My Concept Store and Unikat are addresses that you definitely need to check! The interior of hotspot Bunk Bar in Reykjavik is really cool. Like being in the study room of a world traveler. With globes that are transformed into lamps, old world maps (like mine at home and the one at Your Little Black Book’s office), antique masks, skis and backpacks.
beers & bites at Bunk Bar in Reykjavik
The menu at Bunk Bar in Reykjavik is full of delicious food. This trendy bar is nice to have a drink after a tour at the island or a whale watching excursion, but also to eat a burger or other bites in the evening. We spotted the flatbread with salmon on the menu. And since we are real salmon lovers we had to try. YUMMY!
You can drink local beers from the tap here. Real Icelandic beers! The classic was our favourite, but depending on the season they have white beers here as well. Next time if we are we in Reykjavik, we definitely return to Bunk Bar!
