Benji’s Amsterdam: coffee & urban jungle vibes at the Wibaut

1 November 2016

loads of steel, concrete and greens at coffee spot benjis amsterdam

Oh Wibaut, could you please stop? Let’s be honest, it’s almost impossible to keep up with this street. So many nice spots have opened on this big avenue in Amsterdam-East last year! To remind you: Drovers Dog 3, The Breakfast Club, The Pool and Nest. And now yet another new gem: Benjis Amsterdam!

More hotspots in Amsterdam

As soon as you enter here, it may be clear: Benji’s is a no nonsense place where you can go for good coffee, breakfast and lunch. Better said; it’s an all day breakfast spot and yes, we loooove all day breakfast spots. So besides those good cups of coffee, you can also go here for breakies and lunchies. For breakfast they serve classic yoghurt bowls with banana, strawberries and of course granola. But they serve toasts, tuna salad sandwiches and sandwiches rendang as well. Mmm, sounds good, huh?

And about that interior: with all that steel, concrete and green it’s the perfect urban jungle. And that’s exactly what they aim for: to be a lengthening piece of Mother Nature. To achieve this, they’ve collaborated with Indebt Studio, a collective of young artists in Amsterdam. Just count all the plants while drinking your cup of coffee and you’ll feel zen right away.

The address of Benji’s Amsterdam is Wibautstraat 196.
