There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu but also fish or meat. This makes this hotspots in East perfect for a dinner with friends with mixed diets.

And the people behind Bar James already know their way around in the Javastraat. Because they’re also the people behind The Walter Woodburry Bar. With Bar James they bring a nice mix to the Javastraat, because the menu is veggie proof. From vegan pancakes to a vegan burger and curry for dinner. Or vegetarian dishes like a wild stew. For the carnivores there are also enough options with fish or meat. I had the vegan burger and that one was really good! But you can also order a roasted chicken. YUM!

The interior design of Bar James Amsterdam is also really nice and cosy. You enter at the bar area where you also have some seats and in the back it’s bistro style with lots of green and wood. I really like the view on the kitchen and I love to go here for lunch or dinner with friends.
