Bankastraeti 5 Reykjavik: coffee, burgers and cocktails!

10 March 2013

Bankastraeti 5 Reykjavik is a great hotspot!

Reykjavik is full of nice places to have a drink and relax for a bit. Like Laundromat Cafe, Bankastraeti 5 is an all day hotspot. Bankastraeti 5 Reykjavik is located at the main shopping street in Reykjavik: Bankastraeti. Here you find some nice stores like EVA and lots of vintage shops. If you’re up for a coffee or a beer Bankastraeti 5 Reykjavik is one of the best hotspots to go to in that area. During the day it’s a relaxed coffee cafe, around dinner time you can drop by at Bankastraeti 5 Reykjavik for a juicy burger with fries and at night it turns into a cocktail bar and club with DJ’s. Bankastraeti 5 is a cafe that attracts a hipster crowd. And I just love the Eames chairs they have there!

PS: more hotspots in Reykjavik are in my online Reykjavik Little Black Book. For the best restaurants, shops and things to do on a city trip in Reykjavik. If you’re in Reykjavik for more than 2 nights it’s nice to take a little tour out of town as well. And don’t miss out on the Blue Lagoon. It’s touristy, but a must visit on a trip to Reykjavik!
