At Yourlbb we are crazy about speakeasy bars. So in New York we definitely wanted to have a drink at Apotheke. A popular bar in Chinatown where on a Wednesday to Sunday you need a password to get in. Tip: send a mail or a tweet and they will tell you the password!
Drinking a cocktail at Apotheke combines perfectly with a Dim Sum night at Nom Wah Tea Parlor! Two doors down ;-) So that is exactly what Anne and I did when we were in Chinatown. To eat the best Dim Sum and have a yummy cocktail afterwards.
The cocktails are arranged by different themes. Classic cocktails, sipping fights, health & beauty, stress relievers, pain killers, aphrodisiacs and for example fruits extracts. It just depends on what you feel like that night :) Besides bringing you good cocktails, Apotheke is a cool hotspot too. Dark and intimate. Exactly what you expect from a speakeasy bar.
