Apotek Reykjavik: Scandinavian restaurant with an European touch

30 July 2015

New hotspot for cocktails and shared dining: Apotek Reykjavik

The trendy restaurant Apotek in Reykjavik is one of the newest hotspots in the city. You can find this great restaurant in a place that used to be the pharmacy of Reykjavik. The old pharmacy bottles are a reminder of that. The interior is warm and modern. With half round tables where you can happily sit with your friends for a good dinner. But definitely ask for a table with a view on the kitchen so that you can see the Chef cooking!

At Apotek restaurant you can have an extensive dinner or just some cocktails at the bar. And suprise surprise, we ordered espresso martinis ;-). This new restaurant hotspot in Reykjavik is run by former Michelin stars Chef from London. With a Scandinavian menu that has an European twist. And we can tell you that the food was really really good! The Duck and Waffles is definitely a good choice if you don’t know what to pick. Also nice: all dishes are good for sharing. Which is great, because then you can taste a lot more at Apotek in Reykjavik!
