Amsterdam Weekend Guide for April 20, 21 and 22

19 April 2018

Very good and personal news this weekend in the weekend guide!

Let me get straight to the point: our dear son Manuel is born and all the clichés has been proven true. It’s even more beautiful and better than I could have ever imagined to become a mother and hold your newborn in your arms. We’re enjoying our new family to the fullest. Even during all the sleepless nights in bed we still manage to make jokes ;-). Thank you so much for all the sweet messages on Instagram @YOURLBB and @TRAVELKIDS.CO. It’s heart warming!

And sorry for all the baby spam if you’re not interested in it, but Your Little Black Book is and will remain my personal blog and this new phase in my life is inseperable with that. Luckily I did already notice that having a baby doesn’t mean that you’re interests have also changed, because I’ve already planned my first festival, as we speak I have a screen on my laptop open with a trip to Tulum and I already can’t wait to go on a stroll this weekend with my Joolz and visit all the coffee spots in Amsterdam East. And in the meantime the day consists of dipers, feeding, flasking, cleaning clothes and that on repeat. You can follow all of this in the personal weekly vlogs of Travelkids.co. A little nice detail… the delivery started with the first contraction in the Artis Zoo and it wasn’t until after dinner at a new hotspot that I realised it were the actual contractions. That’s a detail we had a laugh at afterwards.

But… enough about the baby and the new mom struggles. It is WEEKEND! And that means that there is so much to do in Amsterdam. And of course it’s almost Kingsday! Do you already know what you’re going to do? Further in this Weekend Guide you can find lots of inspiration. First enjoy this nice weekend, because I’ve lined up 32 tips for you in this new Amsterdam Guide for 20, 21 and 22 april!

HAPPY WEEKEND! <3

PS: There’s a new vlog this week on Travelkids.co! The delivery has started on a very special location! Have a sneak peek behind the scenes and of course you can follow me on Instagram! And for whoever is interested there’s also an extensive baby room tour online.
