Best of 2014: Top-6 Amsterdam hotspots of May!

22 December 2014

When it’s so cold outside I think about spring A LOT. May is such a nice month. And I’m not saying that because it’s my birthday then ;-). I think May is the perfect month for a city break. A small getway before the summer holidays. Last May there were a lot of things happening in Amsterdam when we’re talking hotspots. In this blog I listed the Top-6 new hotspots of May 2014:

Floor 17 | Amsterdam West | >> Best hotspots of May 2014 >>

How cool, a r rooftop at 85 meters high. The view over Amsterdam is amazing! In the winter they have a small ice skating rink on the rooftop and in the summer there are movie nights. If you haven’t been to Floor 17 yet… go there to check the view out yourself! Tip: the restaurant totally changed the concept and now serves a table d’hôte menu.

Foyer | Amsterdam City Center | >> Best hotspots of May 2014 >>

All the pop-up restaurants of the guys Foyer are true gem. When I want a culinary but affordable night out this is one of my favourite places to go to. Luckily they are open for a few more weeks until the end of January. So try to get a table while you can!

Rein | Rivierenbuurt | >> Best hotspots of May 2014 >>

Healthier than healthy. Everything is super fresh and organic where possible. Rein is one of the best new opening at the Rivierenbuurt last year. For juices, breakfast, coffee or lunch with friends.

Mossel & Gin | Westerpark | >> Best hotspots of May 2014 >>

At Mossel & Gin they mastered the G&T trend. For mussels and Gin and Tonics in Amsterdam this is the place to be. We love the outdoor patio in the warm weather months!

Cafe de Klepel | Amsterdam City Center | >> Best hotspots of May 2014 >>

A hidden gem which I should might keep for myself ;-). Cafe de Klepel is a cosy gastrobar in the heart of Amsterdam where I like to go for a night of wining and dining with friends. The menu changes (almost) daily and is always delicious!
