5 x city trip to the far North

6 August 2015

Why book a city trip to South European cities when you can also go to the far North! Nothing against Barcelona or Lissabon though. But I do really have a soft spot for the Scandinavian countries. The hip people, the healthy hotspots, the best fashion stores and the fresh air. Perfect for a city trip this summer! Where exactly do you need to go? Discover the shortlist for 5 cities for a city trip to the far North!

Oslo

5 x city trip to the Far North

Looking for the prefect combinations beween a city and some nature? Then you must go to the beautiful Oslo! This city is located between the mountains and water. It is sooo beautiful there! In the morning you can have a lovely breakfast in the city, in the afternoon you can cool down near one of the many lakes (or go sailing!) and in the evening you can dine at the nicest restaurants.

How to get there: At KLM you already have tickets with prices starting from 99 euro! And there are at least 17 flights a day to Oslo.

Stockholm

If there would just one city on my favourite list for city trips then it’s Stockholm! The wide clean streets, the beautiful houses, the hip people and of course the delicious food. The fish that you get served on your plate in the evening, was probably caught in the morning. You can’t really get it any fresher! It’s nice to watch the fishermen working at the different bridges. And definitely go shopping at the cool fashion stores!

How to get there: At KLM you already have tickets with prices starting from 98 euro! And there are at least 15 flights a day to Stockholm.

Tallinn

Tallinn is the capital city of Estland and perhaps still a little unknown to many. But you must go here at least once! This city has a night lifestyle like no other, a fairytale-like architecture and a beach. It’s a really special city mostly because of the mix between the old city center and the hipster neighbourhoods full with trendy hotspots. And definitely go to Kalamaja for street art!

How to get there: At KLM you already have tickets with prices starting from 217 euro! And there are at least 6 flights a day to Tallinn.

Copenhagen

>> Copenhagen >>

Copenhagen is the design city of Europe. For the best fashion and home brands you’ve got to be here. But especially the happy colourful houses, the magical streets and the many healthy hotspots will make you fall in love with the city. Schedule a day to the hippie village Christiana for the coolest streert art, go sail in the canals or rent a bike and explore the city.

How to get there: At KLM you already have tickets with prices starting from 98 euro! And there are at least 16 flights a day to Kopenhagen.

But it’s also the perfect city for theater, galleries and museums. You can relax to the fullest at one of the many – and beautiful – saunas that you can find in the city.
