Drink a beer here in Newcastle

When you are in Newcastle you will end up going out for drinks for sure. And where better than having drinks in a trendy pub with local craft beers. Combine them with some bar bites and before you know it you will spend the whole evening there, missing out on these nice restaurants in Newcastle. I discovered so many nice brewpubs on my last trip in Newcastle I had to put them in a list.

Alvinos Newcastle

A cosy pub with a courtyard garden in summertime! Here you can drink craft beer, but they also serve really tasty cocktails! On the food menu you will find burgers, hotdogs and pizza. Which combine perfectly with some beers ;-).

Bierrex Newcastle

It’s all in the name! Here you drink the nicest beers. Unlike other pubs Bierrex has a light and fresh interior. I really like the wood on top of the bar! On the menu you will find the tastiest BBQ meals. Apparently the spare ribs are really good.

Hop & Cleaver >> Brew pubs in Newcastle

A nice hotspot to have dinner and to go for a drink in Newcastle is Hop & Cleaver. They brew their own beer and you can do your own tasting! With nice weather you can sit outside. On my last city trip to Newcastle I went out for dinner at Hop & Cleaver. Comfort food which goes really well with beers ;-). Read more about Hop & Cleaver in this blog.
