Cotignac Amsterdam: hotspot at the Rivierenbuurt2 April 2014
Cotignac Amsterdam is the surprise of the Rivierenbuurt!
Cotignac Amsterdam is a piece of France in the heart of the Rivierenbuurt. When it comes to good food the Rivierenbuurt is not really top of mind for me. Luckily my follower Mandy shared some of her Rivierenbuurt favourites with me! So a few weeks ago me and my love went to Cotignac for dinner.
The menu at Cotignac Amsterdam is super French! Love it :-). With typical French bistro dishes and plats du jour. I couldn’t resist the escargots. When I see those on the menu in Amsterdam I always order it. For the main I had a entrecôte which was a bit more medium then I ordered it, but good. Main dishes are served with fries and the best homemade mayonnaise I had in a while. My love had the steak tartar which was delicious!
Since the prices are quite low for the quality Cotignac Amsterdam is a perfect French bistro to grab a bit with friends on a weekday after work. They have a nice terrace for warm weather days!
