Brasserie Harkema Amsterdam: celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary

23 October 2013

Brasserie Harkema Amsterdam an all time favourite

There are so many new restaurants opening every week that you sometimes almost forget about your all time favourites. The ones you discovered years ago and are still around and busy as always. Brasserie Harkema Amsterdam is one of those places! This industrial style restaurant celebrated its 10 year anniversary last month. Time to revisit! Located at the Nes, Brasserie Harkema is a perfect restaurant to go for dinner before going to one of the theaters.

The menu at Brasserie Harkema Amsterdam

The menu is classic and some dishes are on it for almost 10 years. Expect classic Ceaser salad, confit de canard, entrecote and other bistro style dishes. Brasserie Harkema Amsterdam is also great for dinners with a larger group. I had a delicious starter with coquilles and Surinam black pudding on zucchini with salsa verde. These tastes work together very well! Did you know that Brasserie Harkema launched a cookbook for their 10 year anniversary? You can buy it at the restaurant!
