Being a foodie it’s always super fun to be able to do a food tour in different countries and cities. In most big cities you can book multiple tours in different suburbs. In Boston you can do food tours in for example the North End and in the South End. On a super sunny day we went on a culinary adventure with Bites of Boston Food Tours through the super trendy suburb South End. We went past de nicest culinary hotspots which I would love to share with you!
Parish Cafe- Boston food tour
You can find this brasserie on two locations in Boston. It’s a locals favourite for a nice brunch. Parish is known for it’s tasty sandwiches. Nice fact: the sandwiches on the menu change a lot. All different kind of famous chefs in Boston are asked to share their favourite sandwich on the menu of Parish. We tasted the meatloaf sandwich and it was delicious.
Orinoco Kitchen – Boston food tour
The surprise of the tour was a visit to the Latin-American restaurant Orinoco. It reminded us of a cosy tapas bar in Barcelona where you can get delicious bites and cocktails. We tried a date with bacon, which was super tasty.
The Flour Bakery – Boston food tour
We don’t say no to a yummy cookie every now and then! The Flour Bakery in Boston is one of the best spots to serve homemade and freshly made cookies. Don’t be too surprised if you have to wait in line for a while!
Morse Fish Company – Boston food tour
Boston is famous for it’s seafood. From raw to deep-fried! Yes, the Americans go crazy about everything covered in breadcrumbs ;-). There are many classy oyster bars and seafood restaurants in Boston, but sometimes it’s just as nice to visit a local seafood place for some deep-fried yumminess. The ‘fried clams’ are a local delicacy and really worth a try when you are on a city trip in Boston.

In Amsterdam we have cheese from Abraham Kef, in Boston you have delicacy store Fromaggio. A foodie paradise in trendy South End in Boston. Here you can get the best cheeses, wine, locally made beers, olives and more to have at home (or in the parc).

J.J. Foley’s Cafe is an Irish Pub. The spot where men get together after work to drink pints of beer and eat beasty bites. Do you like a meatloaf dish? This is the place to be!
