Bar Mowgli Amsterdam: Asian shared dining in East

18 August 2016

bar mowgli amsterdam is the newest gem of the beukenplein!

If we say Mowgli, you automatically think of Jungle Book. The story about the tough kid that grew up with the wolves somewhere far, far away. Good memories, right? Now there’s another Mowgli you have to get to know. It’s Bar Mowgli Amsterdam on the Beukenplein!

More hotspots in Amsterdam

bar mowgli amsterdam 600x450 1This new bar is as tough as the boy from the jungle. The men behind Bar Mowgli have been inspired by the remarkable story. And that is shown by the interior. It looks raw yet modern and the bar is a real eye catcher. You can see that the whole place is renovated but it doesn’t feel completely new. So cool! And you know the rules of the Beukenplein: a big terrace at the front door is included ;-)

The menu as well is inspired by the adventures of the jungle. At Bar Mowgli you can eat all day, from the early morning to the late evening. But there’s a twist! During breakfast and lunch you can order the typical Amsterdam dishes such as toasts, sandwiches and scrambled eggs. However, as soon as the evening drops the true nature of the jungle is taking over and Asian street food is served. Steam buns, seafood and other small dishes are waiting for you. Ideal!

Maybe you already know the guys behind this cosy jungle. They also have Bar Lempicka and Caffe Millo, also in East.

Do you want to meet Mowgli? The address of Bar Mowgli Amsterdam is Beukenplein 50. Enjoy!
