– Let’s go to our favourite market in Amsterdam: the Sunday Market!
– Alert for street art lovers like me. There’s an expo at OT301 at the Overtoom called Art17 this weekend with street art from the Benelux.
– Food, music, movies and theatre at Cinémanger! An open air event every Thursday and Friday of September.
– It’s always fun in the Jordaan. This weekend especially during the Jordaan Festival!
– Do you like to get to know Bos and Lommer a bit better? Than go to the Rijpgracht Festival! A festival for and set up by the neighbourhood. With food, drinks, art and cultural activities.
– Or go to the Wilhelmina Huiskamer Festival (living room festival) in Old West! Two nights of cabaret, music, opera, art and theatre.
– This weekend starts the Amsterdam Fringe Festival. A ten days festival with performances, live art, theatre and dance.
– Another cultural festival is the Noorderparkfestival! A festival for and again set up by locals.
– Haven’t you been to The Loft yet? A beautiful apartment in Amsterdam full with design and art. Everything can be purchased here and a lot of events will also be organised in The Loft.
– The TonTon Club is going outside this summer with TonTon in de Zon! For the coming two months (till September 27) you can go to their outdoor game hall at Westerpark for a fun evening!
– Woody Allen is becoming 80 this year and the EYE is celebrating that with around 25 film screenings including the premiere of Woody Allen’s latest film Irrational Man. Until September 9 you can watch the comedies of Woody Allen.
– Also nice to go to: the Vondelpark Openlucht Theater? Until September 27 you can go here for free music, theater, dance and cabaret performances.

– Foam opened a new exhibition called E_MERGE! A solo expo of Anne de Vries from the Hague who combines objects with the newest (media) technology.
– For the fashionista’s among us: there’s a new expo the Tassenmuseum: Black and White: the dresscode of a life time! Where black and white bags are the main focus.
– Did you already go to the Tropenmuseum for the expo Secret Love? About the taboo in China around lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBTs). Interesting!
– Always the closing festival of the summer season: Valtifest! Will you dress up for it?
