Spring in Amsterdam. One of my favourite seasons in Amsterdam. The first festivals, so many new places that open the doors and the first drinks with friends on a terrace. April is a lovely month to look back at. To how many of these six Best of 2014 hotspots have you been yet?

The coolest new spot of the Nine Streets for coffee or lunch with friend is Ree7. It’s the little sister of De Luwte and one of our favourite addresses in the Nine Streets.

My secret address for escargots in Amsterdam is Cotignac. I’be been here many times and always had a great evening. I think the value for money at this spot is really good.
