4 x Best new clubs in Amsterdam that opened the doors

12 January 2017

these are our favourite hotspots to go clubbing in amsterdam

It should be clear that good restaurants, fine take-out spots or new hotspots with wifi and good coffee make my heart beat faster. And although I don’t go out every week anymore, I’m still so proud when a new club opens its doors in our beautiful capital. Amsterdam continues to be progressive when it comes to dance, house and festivals. Take ADE for example, in such a sort time this festival has become one of the leading dance festivals in the world. I LIKE! Notably 2016 has been a good year for the Amsterdam club scene. We welcomed a couple of good clubs, each in their own way adding something unique to the Amsterdam nightlife. Time for an update when it comes to clubbing in Amsterdam!

4 x the best new clubs in Amsterdam

De School: Darkness, darkness and even more darkness. That’s what you’ll find at De School. Aka the successor of the beloved ClubTrouw. No wonder that the lines are long. But once you’re in, you’ll enter a magical world.

Curtain Club: No dark underground fuzz at Curtain Club. Because here you go to see and to bee seen. Do you like upscale clubbing? Wear your prettiest dress and shine all night.

Claire: Claire is where Studio 80 was first, in the heart of city centre. The club was taken over by the same men of Disco Dolly, so that sets the expectations high. Besides, Claire has a license until 08 am so the party continues throughout the weekend ;-)

Shelter: In all of our year list we mostly talk about the upper floors of the new A’dam Toren, but also the basement floor deserves to be in the spotlight. This is where you find Shelter, the only true underground club of the city. King of the underground San Proper is resident, so need we say more?

And of course there are also some classics where we keep going back to, like: Radion, The Warehouse & Marktkantine.
