10 X surprising restaurants that deliver food to your home (free delivery until March 31!)

27 February 2017

Do you live in the right postcode area for these restaurants?

Now that I have an office in the city center I recently found out that not every restaurant delivers to every neighbourhood. This way, I keep discovering new restaurants that deliver when I’m working late in the office, or am feeling lazy during lunch and secretly don’t feel like walking to the supermarket because it’s raining. In this blog I put the most surprising restaurants on a list from which I didn’t know that they deliver. Also, good news if you want to test out these restaurants, because until the 31st of March you can get free delivery via foodora if you spend a minimum of €12,50.

Wolf Atelier

10 x great restaurants that deliver!

The Seafood Bar: maybe the best news that I heard last week. The Seafood Bar also delivers now. Grilled fish, but also oysters, and whole or half lobsters. Let me tell you… I’m definitely going to be using this service!

De BallenBar:  OMG, just imagine: you’re sitting at home on the couch watching Netflix and are surprised with the munchies. BITTERBALLS is what you’re craving. And then without having to leave the house to go to the supermarket or a bar. De BallenBar is the perfect answer. The tasting is always good, and the truffel bitterbals are heavenly. Also great if you’re having drinks at the office with your colleagues!

Genki Café: I can hear you thinking… “have I missed something?”. At Genki Café you can eat delicious bowls that you can put together yourself if you want to. If you ask me, this is one of the best spots in Amsterdam to order bowls. Especially the Samurai Superfood, which is so good.

Wolf Atelier: Just as crazy about steak tartare as I am? Good news, because for lunch you can order delicious tartare dishes from Wolf Atelier from their Tartaria. A classic steak tartare, or preferably with eggplant or salmon.

Waterkant:  Is Waterkant also one of your favourite hotspots in the summer?  Honestly, where do you sit nicer on the water than there? Whether you’re in the mood for their roti on the nachos (which are too good!)… they deliver it all to you!

Order online

Cut Throat: did someone say Chicken and Waffles? OOOH Yes. If you’re lucky you won’t have to leave home for it. Because, Cut Throat also delivers their delicious brunch food and burger.

Bo Nam: no really… this new hotspot also delivers. For all your Vietnamese (and Asian) inspired street food cravings you can be nice and lazy and order in. Do you know the menu off the top of your head? You can’t miss out on the rolls, and the spareribs are finger licking good. And what about the black bao buns from the photo in this blog? YUM!

The Meets: Sometimes its also nice to have some healthy alternatives if you’re really busy or don’t have time or feel like cooking. At The Meets there isn’t much that you can order that’ll make you feel guilty. The whole menu is filled with healthy dishes!

Order online

Castell: Castell is practically the opposite of The Meets. And if you are in the mood for meat, then you might as well get it at one of the best meat joints in the city. On their deliverymenu they only have the chicken and the spareribs. We still love it though!

Order online

Cha House: it wasn’t always so easy to find a place to eat dim sum in Amsterdam. Lately you can get it on almost every corner though, and secretly I actually love it. A spot that everyone wants to know is Cha House. I would eat their dim sum every day if I could!
